I’ve always believed the best things in life have a story.

What started as a lifelong passion became Polished by PJ in 2020.

I’ve always loved the feeling of discovering something special, an object that has lived another life before finding its way to you. Many of the pieces I curate today simply aren’t made anymore. The craftsmanship, materials, and design sensibilities of earlier decades are increasingly rare, and finding these treasures in beautiful condition feels a bit like uncovering history itself. But my life isn’t only about vintage.

For the last fifteen years, I had the privilege of serving as a Director at Apple, leading Retail teams across three countries. It was a life-changing chapter, inspiring and filled with extraordinary people. But over time, I began craving something different;  the luxury of slowing down just enough to follow the things that had always quietly inspired me… history, craftsmanship, and the thrill of the vintage hunt.

I’m also a wife, and the proud mother of my daughter who recently began her own beautiful new chapter as a newlywed. Family has always been at the center of everything I do.

​

My husband Andrew and I also share a deep love for animal rescue and advocacy. Our home and hearts have long been open to animals in need, including several rescue swans who have become part of our extended feathered family. That passion eventually led us to start a nonprofit focused on protecting and advocating for waterfowl across Central Florida, Friendsofafeather.org. A portion of every vintage item sold goes towards our ability to help these animals. 

 

Whether it’s a vintage piece or an animal in need, I’m drawn to things with a past, things that deserve care, attention, and a second chance to shine.

Polished by PJ is my way of giving beautiful objects another life, preserving their history while helping them become part of your story. And perhaps most importantly, I believe beautiful things are meant to be used, enjoyed, and celebrated, not saved away.

 

Because the most meaningful things we own aren’t just objects. They’re pieces of the past that continue forward with us… helping us celebrate the everyday moments that become our best & most beautiful selves & memories.
