Polished by PJ began with a lifelong love of family heirlooms, the meaning they have and the stories they carry.

Growing up, some of my favorite memories were wandering yard sales with my parents & treasure hunting  pieces that had lived entire lives before finding their way into our home.  I learned from my parent's excitement and care for all things that the most special objects (& people) are those that  have already lived an interesting life.  After spending the last 15 years as an executive at Apple, I found myself drawn back to that early love of discovery & an eye for the exceptional.  What began as a passion project quickly became Polished by PJ, my curated collection of luxury vintage pieces that capture the essence and craftsmanship of another era.

Many of the pieces I source come from the golden decades of design & entertaining, the 1960s, 70s, and 80s where Fashion Houses like Gucci & Dior were creating objects meant to last for generations. From barware that once graced elegant cocktail parties to statement pieces that take center stage in any room,  each item has a story worth continuing.

Many of the pieces I select are also no longer made where as the years pass they are becoming not only harder to find but particularly in the beautiful condition collectors hope for. Their rarity is part of their magic. These are not only timeless objects to enjoy and live with, but pieces that often become even more valuable as the years go on.

 

Today, Polished by PJ blends my love of history and heritage with the thrill of uncovering timeless pieces that you didn’t know existed but now cant live without.
